Hospital Sales Representative - Cardiology

Location:Midwest – North Region - East Anglia, Leicester, Leeds

Put your first-class sales skills to good use as a Hospital Sales Representative.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious, passionate individual to make a difference at the cutting edge of the medical industry, establishing relationships with secondary care customers and discussing the use of TAVI for suitable patients with aortic stenosis.

You’ll be working across your territory to raise TAVI awareness, in a role that will let you develop your career in the direction that you want it to take. The role will help you expand your therapeutic and clinical expertise, as well as help improve patient care within a company with a proven track record of excellence, and for providing solutions that let life sciences companies innovate with confidence.

The role

  • To educate and inform hospital clinicians on the value-added benefits for aortic stenosis patients to have TAVI procedure which is an alternative to open heart surgery.
  • Working up and down the M5 corridor to identify target customers, developing and implementing the strategic business plan.
  • Develop and implement innovative strategies to educate cardiology stakeholders in order to demonstrate the value of TAVI within the key centres.
  • Leverage experience in pathway re-design, putting the patient at the centre of the conversation and looking at solutions from the patient’s and clinician’s perspective
  • Knowledge of Secondary Care or Specialist arena including Cardiology, Diagnostics, Theatre, etc.
  • influence decision-making with strong negotiation skills to convince stakeholders to change current behaviour towards positive referral activity.
  • The ability to network with key cardiology centres across the territory to drive referrals for the procedure

You need

  • Experience within Secondary Care Medical Sales environment, preferably in cardiology/diagnostic cardiology
  • Eligible to work full time in the UK
  • ABPI Qualified (preferred)
  • UK Driving Licence (no more than 6 points)
  • Strong commercial acumen and business planning skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent
