We are looking for a Full Time Permanent Horticultural Area Expert to join the team in our Garden Wise Garden Centre.

The hours for this position are 32 per week over 4 days including regular weekend shifts so flexibility is a must.

The rate of pay for this role is £10.66 per hour.

The Role

As a Horticultural Area Expert, you must have specialist plant knowledge, be able to provide excellent customer service and create an exceptional shopping experience for our customers helping them to make informed purchases.

What you will be doing as a Horticultural Area Expert?

  • Plant stock replenishment and merchandising to create fabulous plant displays
  • Taking the lead in the care of our plants ensuring they are always healthy and looking great for our customers
  • Advising our customers on suitable plants and products for their needs, taking every opportunity to WOW.
  • Working closely with the Plant Area Assistants to develop their horticultural knowledge.
  • Till operation and serving customers
  • Carry out cleaning and housekeeping tasks as needed
  • Assisting customers with carrying purchases to their cars
