Who we are:

The HICA Group is a not for profit organisation dedicated to delivering high-quality, person-centred care to the individuals who we support. We are currently looking for caring and committed individuals to join our Home Care team at Heyeswood Retirement Village providing care and support to residents in their own homes across the village.

These positions are to work early (7am to around 3pm) or late (3pm to around 10pm) shifts on a rota basis with alternate weekend working. All calls are in one location so transport is not required.

What we’re looking for:

Experience is not essential as we offer a comprehensive induction program that fully prepares you to become a Home Care Worker. What is important, is that you are caring and compassionate as the role involves helping our residents with all aspects of everyday life. This includes assisting with personal care and hygiene, administering medication and completing domestic tasks.

The ability to work independently, whilst employing good communication skills is a must along with patience, and the ability to treat others with dignity and respect.

Flexibility is essential as these positions involve covering either early (7am to around 3pm) or late (3pm to around 10pm) shifts on a rota basis with alternate weekend working.
