Audley Care is a well-established community care organisation with a number of 5* luxury retirement villages situated throughout the UK. Due to an increase of care packages in the Chalfont area we now have an opportunity available for a Care assistant, to ensure they are providing the highest standards of care to our customers.

We’ll look to you to personally deliver domiciliary care, the Audley way, to our customers in their own homes. Through our Audley Academy, we’ll give you all of the training and support you need, including funding you through your QCF level 2 so that you can provide care that’s full of empathy, understanding, and respect. In return, we’ll take equally good care of you. With a competitive salary, a generous mileage allowance, smart uniforms, paid holiday, Medicash plan and discounts on a range of local and national retailers all come as standard.

All of our customers are unique – so they all have different needs. Working from specially prepared personal care plans, you’ll help out with a huge range of tasks – making sure everything’s done exactly as your customers like it. Some will need your help with getting washed and dressed, or taking their medications correctly. Others might need a hand with the laundry, keeping the house spick and span, or getting in the shopping. Whatever you’re doing, you’ll take a real sense of pride in delivering care that sets the standard.

Obviously, if you have experience in delivering domiciliary care in the home that’s fantastic – but for us it’s not essential. Our Audley Academy will help you work towards your QCF 2 in Care, and build your skills. It’s the ability to put yourself in someone else’s shoes, to treat them with respect, and to appreciate that you’re in their home, and need to do things their way, that is vital. Warm, capable, reliable and discreet, you’ll be a real asset to the team. On a practical level, you do need to be able to travel round the local area to your customers, which in many areas means you’ll need a driving licence and your own car.

Essentials Skills And Qualifications Needed
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Good knowledge of the local area
So, what do Audley offer in return of your hard work and dedication?
  • Hourly rate for this role starts from £11.05 per hour
  • 32p per mile paid to cover any travel and petrol costs
  • GUARANTEED HOURS
  • Flexible working hours meaning that you’re able to carry on with commitments outside of working life
  • Excellent training programme in place including mandatory training and the option to undertake further qualifications and training
  • Fantastic career development opportunities – Audley are keen to promote internally so we always look to our Carers to become our future Managers
  • Medicash
