History Teacher Needed / Daily rate £138 - 180 / Full-time role / CF83 Area / September 21 to July 22

The role –

- Full teaching timetable

- KS3 and KS4 Experience needed

- QTS or NQT status

- CF83 Area

- Elements of KS5 Experience – Preferred not essential

- Supporting a KS3 form class

Our larger comprehensive school in the Caerphilly area are seeking a passionate History teacher who is looking to make a difference. They are looking for the successful History teacher to support the return to school and help with reintegrate pupils back into school life. You will be given a full teaching timetable supporting KS3 History and KS4 GCSE History. The school are looking for someone who can support elements of KS5 History revision classes, but this is preferred but not essential.

The school has a growing Humanities department with three other subject practitioners who are excited to welcome a new member to the team. The department is fully equipped to ensure that you can provide the best teaching to your pupils throughout. ICT suites, classrooms with interactive whiteboards and more will be made available to you. The school are looking for someone to undertake full teaching responsibilities for the successful History teacher including marking, planning and liaising with the SLT team to help develop the education provided within the school.

The school are encouraging all History and general History teachers to apply, SLT are happy to provide additional training from the head of department as well as additional CPD courses.
