HGV TECHNICIAN

OTE: £45,000pa

HGV Technician Job Details

Basic Salary: £37,440pa

Working Hours

Week 1 - Monday-Friday - 07:00-15:00

Week 2 - Monday-Friday - 15:00-23:00

Location: Peterborough

40 Hour Contract

Overtime - Time and a Half Monday-Saturday & Double Pay Sundays and Bank Holidays worked

Responsibilities Of An HGV Technician

  • Routine vehicle maintenance to DVSA standards.
  • Preparation and presentation of vehicles and trailers for MOT inspection.
  • Diagnosing of vehicles diagnostic equipment.
  • Good housekeeping and H&S requirements.
  • Ensure all paperwork is completed.

Skills And Qualifications Of An HGV Mechanic

  • Level 3 / City & Guilds or NVQ qualified technician
  • HGV licence is an advantage
