We are a small building and tipper haulage company based in Cheltenham.

We also operate 4 8x4 Tipper Trucks based at our operating centre at Andoversford near Cheltenham.

Due to continued business growth we are now seeking experienced tipper drivers.

The ideal candidate will have held their HGV licence for at least 2 years, with at least 6 months experience driving 8x4 tippers. They will also hold an up to date Driver CPC qualification and MPQC card (although not essential as training can be provided for this). A driver tachograph card sound knowledge of drivers hours and regulations will also expected. Experience in driving auto and manual split gearbox is essential.

The work consists of a combination of Muck-Away from building sites, Aggregate and Stone deliveries from quarries and working within roadworks, road planing etc, therefore experience within all of these areas would be beneficial.

We mainly cover Gloucestershire, Wiltshire, Warwickshire, Oxfordshire, Worcestershire, Bristol and Avon and often further afield when necessary.

Generally the hours will be 6am to 5pm, although these will differ from time to time therefore any applicant must be flexible and happy to work around this. Nights out will be required on occasion, 1-2 times a week, sometimes more or less, most of our vehicles have larger sleeper cabs to accommodate this, we also have SNAP and other accounts to cover safe overnight parking. Night out allowance is paid at £25.00

Due to the nature of the work the vehicles can become very dirty, although we pride ourselves on keeping vehicles as clean and presentable as possible and would expect any candidates to have the same attitude, and therefore be prepared to wash the vehicle regularly (obviously this would be in paid company time).

This position is currently being offered on a Full Time basis, PAYE, weekly paid, with company pension and 28 days paid holiday.
