Due to an increase in demand our Gateshead based client are looking for x2 HGV2 multidrop drivers to join their team on a temp to perm basis.

Your main responsibilities will include the delivery and collection of fresh/used goods . The role is physically demanding as you’ll be unloading your own vehicle with a second man. You will be the face of the company so having great customer service skills is essential.

This is an excellent opportunity at a reputable client with a permanent job at the end of it for the right candidate.

Newly qualified drivers are also welcome to apply.

Your typical working week will start between 5am-6am Monday to Friday including some overnights so must be ok with that. A typical shift length is around 10 hours. There may also be opportunities to pick up overtime on a weekend subject to volumes.
  • Category C (LGV2) entitlement on your licence
  • Valid CPC and digital tachograph
  • Good understanding of RT(WT)R
Pay

Rate of pay is £10.25 per hour for the first 8 hours with an enhanced rate of £13.50 for overtime and Saturday’s (PAYE).
