Are you an HGV Class 2 Driver looking for a more interesting role? Are you looking for an opportunity to progress and grow your career? A role with great training? On the other hand, are you looking for job security and wanting a role that can offer you full-time, guaranteed hours?

We are currently recruiting for full-time, permanent Class 2 Drivers to join us at our site in Wakefield, working on one of our prestigious contracts. You will be working a minimum of 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday with weekends off!


Pay, benefits and more:


We’re looking to offer a rate of £10.60 per hour. As part of the recruitment process, all drivers will be taken through Security Clearance up to SC level, so you must be prepared for security background checks.


What you’ll do on a typical day:


  • Accurately and safely, load and unload vehicles
  • You will be delivering into Commercial and high security locations
  • Delivering and assembling office electrical equipment along with a driver’s mate
  • Your daily start time will be 04:00
  • On-site testing of equipment and brief customer demonstrations


What you need to succeed at XPO:


  • Previous installation experience would be advantageous
  • LGV C/ HGV Class 2 Licence with current CPC and Tacho Card
  • No more than 6 points on your licence with no DD, DR or IN endorsements
  • Understanding of Office equipment would also be of advantage
