HGV Class 2 Driver required HGV Class 2 Driver required for a position with our well-established client in Smethwick, West Midlands. This particular company are well known nationwide, they have operated in the local area for many years and are a leader in General haulage logistics locally and nationally. This company focuses all aspects of Storage and Distribution of general goods. The HGV Class 2 Driver will be placed on an ongoing basis, any suitable drivers may be offered temp to perm placements. The Role: The HGV Class 2 driver will be required to work Monday to Friday (optional weekends are available).

The work starts immediately and involves making deliveries of palletised goods to DC’s and RDC’s across the UK. This job involves either Local Collection and Delivery work or a distance run with a few back load collections, time to time some handball & pump truck may be required. Requirements for this role: The HGV Class 2 Driver will require: Cat C entitlement on their licence Valid Digital tacho & CPC Card No more than 6 points on licence Safety Boots & Hi Viz Vest Hours & Pay: The start times are usually between 04:00 & 08:00, some noons and afternoon shifts can be made available for those who request them with HireGiant.
