With a multi-million-pound investment transforming Future’s hazardous waste treatment and recovery services in Honiton, an exciting position has risen for a new Waste Transfer Driver. This is a full time, permanent role reporting to the Transfer Station Manager.

We are currently looking for an experienced LGV Class 2 driver based in Honiton to join our team of drivers in the South region. Starting as soon as possible this is a full time, permanent role with a 40 hours per week basic contract. There are also plenty of opportunities for overtime. This is a vast and varied role whereby no two weeks are the same.

You will be responsible for collecting wastes from customers premises so you will need to be a good ambassador for the company ensuring the customer experience is a positive one.

To apply for the role of LGV Class 2 Driver you must be an experienced driver with an LGV Class 2 driving licence valid for the UK. You will also need an in-date Driver CPC and digital tacho card. An ADR licence is desirable for this role but not essential as training will be given.

As the front line of the company, you must be conscientious to work as part of a team for high profile clients demonstrating excellent customer service skills. You will also need to demonstrate good awareness of health and safety compliance. Clear handwriting and an eye for detail are also essential.

Benefits:

• £12.00 per hour – non-ADR, time and half on Saturday and double time on Sunday.
