Staffing Match is proud to be working in partnership with our client, a leading Supermarket at their distribution depots in Chepstow and Avonmouth. You may be required to pick up a unit in Avonmouth at the start of your Chepstow shift.

We are recruiting HGV 1 Drivers to work with them and can offer drivers both full time and ad hoc shifts as required 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.

Our ideal driver will be able to work a weekend shift pattern.

Shifts and pay rates as an HGV Class 1 Driver:

Average paid shifts are 11-15 hours per day.

Pay between 06.00 - 18.00
  • Basic £14.92 P/H
  • Overtime £20.65 P/H - after 45 hours
Pay between 14.00 - 22.00
  • Basic £16.23 P/H
  • Overtime £21.96 P/H - after 45 hours
Pay between 22.00 - 06.00
  • Basic £18.63
  • Overtime £24.36 P/H - after 45 hours
ALL BREAKS ARE PAID!

Your responsibilities as a HGV Class 1 Driver:.
  • Duties include completing 1-4 deliveries to stores as required.
  • Deliveries can be either caged or palletised.
  • Completing paperwork.
HGV Class 1 Drivers - About You
  • HGV 1 C+E licence
  • Digital tacho and DQC card
  • Minimum 12 months experience
  • No more than 6 points. No DR, DD, CD, IN10’s
