Bailey Employment Services Ltd is an employment business recruiting on behalf of our client.

Our client is a leading kitchen furniture manufacturer in the UK based in Howden. To support their peak production period we require Class 1 HGV DAY AND NIGHT drivers. An induction and driving assessment is required before starting the work and there are induction slots available immediately.

DAY drivers will do multi drop deliveries to the clients 700+ outlets with no more than 4 drops a day. Raw materials may be collected on the back load run.

NIGHTdrivers may be requested to work weekends in mid peak. The night work involves trunking to DC’s.

Our client operates to a very high standard of safety and operating standards and we invite like minded professional class 1 drivers to apply for this work. Our client recruits full time drivers from the agency peak attendance drivers, and so, there may be permanent work offers available to the successful candidate.

Pay Rates
  • Day & Night Monday to Friday - £ 16.17
  • Day & Night Saturdays - £ 19.63
  • Day & Night Sundays - £ 19.63
  • Night shift allowance - £ 12.66 per night Monday to Sunday

  • Good understanding of Tachograph rules and regulations.
  • Induction & driving assessment required prior to commencing work.
  • Some weekend work in mid-peak (usually October).
  • PPE & uniform shirts provided.
