We are a small family run company based at Hayton, near Pocklington. We are looking for a HGV/Agricultural mechanic, to work Tuesday-Saturday, including the occasional Mondays.
The job will involve accurately and skilfully undertaking routine service and repair on current fleet of HGV units and trailers.
The ideal candidate will need to be able to:
-Electrical repairs with a range of diagnostic equipment
-Carry out routine maintenance inspections and MOT prep, including washing and presenting.
-Assisting with breakdowns onsite/ roadside
-Sourcing and ordering parts
-Occasional driving maybe required
-Tyre repair with aid of a HGV tyre machine
-3rd party repairs also to be undertaken
-Need to work on your own initiative and be a team player.
-Hold full UK Driving Licence including class 1
-Previous experience required
