Heritage Automotive - HR Administrator (Temp 6/8 wks)

Salary £22,000 - £25,000 DOE pro rata 30 hours a week

The Role

Heritage Automotive’s HR department are working on a number of exciting projects this year! Our first big project will be to migrate from our current HR reporting system to a new bespoke HR & Payroll portal. Offering our colleagues greater autonomy and control of their HR needs. An opportunity has arisen to join Heritage Automotive as a HR administrator on a temporary basis over a 6 to 8 week period to assist the team with this piece of work.

Summary

To Support the HR Team

Reporting to the Head of HR this role will be based in Salisbury, Wiltshire and is office based. You will support the existing HR team with all aspects of HR administration with particular emphasis on the collection of data for the new Portal and or Recruitment depending on your previous experience and knowledge.

The role will be responsible for:

  • Carry out new joiner / leaver administration including preparation and issuing of contractual documentation, reference checking and scheduling induction training for new hires in accordance with company procedures.
  • Prepare and distribute HR documentation and correspondence.
  • Maintaining all relevant employee data and files in line with Data protection.
  • Overseeing the Recruitment process for the company, ensuring vacancies are advertised accordingly.
  • Data collection and analysis
  • Provide general administration support to the HR team and respond to and resolve administrative inquiries and questions.

To be successful you will be:

  • A great team player, with exceptional communication skills.
  • Extremely proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, in particular Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to organise and prioritise tasks and work on own initiative.
  • Ability to remain calm while working under pressure and keep to agreed deadlines.
