The successful candidate will have good communication skills and be able to work well within a team in a fast paced work environment. Good and accurate documentation is a requirement of the job, as is excellent timekeeping and attendance.

Under the direction of the Lead Sonographer /Sonographers the HCSW will provide a high quality, safe and supportive environment in order to carry out direct patient care within the Maternity Ultrasound department. You will prepare rooms and equipment, provide information and assistance for patients when required, assist and Chaperone Sonographers, make/change patient appointments, be responsible for stock ordering and rotation as well as any admin duties required of the post. .
The Post holder is required to work within a multidisciplinary team to provide the delivery of highest level of care whilst adhering to Health Board Policies, Departmental Policies, Heath & Safety, Data Protection and Confidentiality Policies.
