Salary: £18500 - £24000 depending on experience – additional shift enhancements and overtime uplifts for nights and weekends above 15% of the equivalent hourly rate. Bank holidays uplifts will be double time.

We will soon open the doors to Nuffield Health at St Bartholomew’s Hospital: The City of London’s only independent hospital, situated next to St Bartholomew’s NHS hospital. This will be our flagship centre for cardiac services and will also provide a full range of surgical and medical services, including: orthopaedics, oncology, general surgery, gynaecology and urology services.

The new hospital will consist of:

  • 48 inpatient and day case bedrooms

  • 28 consultation rooms

  • Three digital operating theatres

  • Cardiac catheterisation lab

  • Specialist intensive care beds

  • Oncology day unit

  • Endoscopy and minor ops theatre

  • Full diagnostic imaging suite including MRI, CT, ultrasound, mammography and general X-ray

We have an exciting opportunity for a Health Care Assistant to joinour brand-new teamin London. You will be responsible to support the delivery of quality care in line with the Nuffield way of Caring, to meet patient’s health and wellbeing needs. Oncethe hospital is operational, you will support individuals and teams to deliver high quality, clinically effective patient care through assessment, planning, implementation andevaluation. Alongthe way, you’ll build strong relationships with consultants, hospital senior leaders, a wide range of healthcare professionals and, of course, patients.

We are looking fora motivated andcompassion candidateto deliver patient-centeredevidence-based careunder the supervision of aregistered Nurse.You will need to bereliable and enthusiastic, preferablywith recent hospital experience or experience in a caring background. Offeringfull time, part time and bank positions applicants will be willing to work flexibly across different shift patterns covering a seven-day service. We need caring individuals who respect their patients and colleagues, you must be able to communicate at all levels and be a strong patient advocate.
