An opportunity has arisen within a busy Minor Injury Unit at Helston Community Hospital. This post requires the successful candidate to carry out minor injury treatments such as triage, dressings, plastering, general observations.
The ideal candidate will have experience as a HCA within a hospital setting. Experience of working in an urgent care environment desirable but training will be given. An ability to work under pressure in an emergency setting and a willingness to undertake further skills training is essential. This post also has administrative elements.
The MIU is open from 08.00-20.00, 7 days a week and shifts will include working long days.
Part time 22.5 hours per week
