An opportunity has arisen for enthusiastic, motivated Health Visitors to join evolving and supportive Health Visiting Teams based at Grangemouth and Boness, Falkirk. The successful candidates will have recognised Public Health Nursing/ Health Visiting qualifications.

Candidates should have a high standard of communication and organisational skills, and an ability to work within a team and on their own initiative. A basic knowledge of common IT systems and a willingness to work with partner agencies are also essential. Candidates should have an interest in community development work, in working in partnership with nurseries and have a working knowledge of child protection systems. Due to the geographical location an ability and willingness to travel throughout the area of service delivery is essential for this post.

The duties of this post require the successful candidate to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme. More information on this scheme can be found at www.disclosurescotland.co.uk
