They’re the glue that binds us together and we think of them as a platform to help us deliver our best work. You have every chance to drive impact here at Moonpig, and most importantly, we genuinely want you!

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Health and Safety and Facilities Manager to join our fast-paced e-commerce fulfilment warehouse located in Tamworth. You will be responsible for developing and implementing robust health and safety programs, ensuring compliance with regulations, and managing the efficient operation and maintenance of our facilities. This role is pivotal in creating a safe and productive work environment for our team members.

Please note this role is required to be onsite in our Tamworth Fulfilment Centre so we can not consider remote working contracts for this role

Key Responsibilities

    • Conduct regular risk assessments, safety audits, and inspections to identify and address potential hazards.
    • Design and deliver training programs for warehouse staff on safety protocols, equipment operation, and emergency procedures.
    • Investigate incidents and accidents, prepare detailed reports, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
    • Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations, including maintenance, repairs, and cleanliness.
    • Collaborate with external service providers, vendors, and contractors to ensure effective facility services.
    • Monitor and manage facility budgets, identifying opportunities for cost savings without compromising safety or operational efficiency.
    • Develop and maintain emergency response plans tailored to the e-commerce fulfilment environment.

You’ll be a good addition to the Operations team if you:

    • Ideally a bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Facilities Management, or a related field is desirable, or qualified by equivalent experience
    • Professional certification in health and safety (e.g., NEBOSH) is highly desirable.
    • Proven experience in health and safety and facilities management within a warehouse or distribution centre.
    • In-depth knowledge of e-commerce fulfilment processes and safety requirements.
    • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to identify trends and implement effective solutions.
    • Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
