Description
  • Undertake risk assessments as required and follow up control measures to completion
  • Complete daily metrics and callouts from the site
  • Deep dive data in to monitoring recordable and riddor based incidents on site.
  • Advise Associates and Managers on Company procedures and legal requirements within the level of a Auditors knowledge
  • Know their own level of competence and not give information outside this level
  • Monitor the FC for compliance to Company safety procedures
  • Investigate accidents, near misses and incidents to establish root cause.
  • Update internal records with regards to incidents, near misses and accidents
  • Undertake projects and information gathering to establish hazards and level of risk within the FC
  • Be involved in undertaking action plans to ensure continuing compliance with Legislation
  • Be able to maintain confidentiality in matters involving Safety investigations
The working hours for this position are 07:30-18:00 Sunday - Wednesday or 07:30-18:00 Wednesday - Saturday. Flexibility required on hours worked to cover shifts during Peak and ensure investigations are completed.
Basic Qualifications
  • NVQ Level 3 or NEBOSH National General Certifcate (or working towards it) or equivalent experience.
  • Attention to detail
  • Proven ability to work to targets and deadlines
  • Proven ability to quickly learn and effectively adhere to new processes and procedures
  • Ability to work under the minimum of supervision
  • Flexible and adaptable to meet the needs of the business
  • Contributes to a positive team environment
  • Drive, enthusiasm and self-motivation
  • Good PC Skills
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
