What You Need To Know About The Role
  • The post holder will provide health and safety related advice, guidance and support to all levels of staff across a range of services. Your approach will be to ensure that advice is proportionate to the risk and meets approved standards.
  • Using a broad range of skills, you will ensure that through risk assessment, audits and similar management tools, North Lincolnshire Council remains compliant with relevant statutory duties.
  • You will be a key driver in encouraging good health and safety behaviour across the organisation and influence the safety culture of the team which you interact with.

What We Need To Know About You
  • You will have significant experience of advising leaders and managers on a range of complex, sensitive and multi-disciplinary occupational, health, safety and wellbeing issues in a medium to large organisation. With a focus on Fire risk assessments, workplace audits/inspections and training.
  • You will have the ability to work as part of a small team; you will also be required to work from home and across North Lincolnshire, supporting various service areas within North Lincolnshire Council.
  • Experience of fire safety would be advantageous.
