’Ristorante Leone’ at The Lion & Swan Hotel is a brand new and exciting restaurant, displaying contemporary Italian cuisine at its best. The 150 cover restaurant has received substantial renovations and has been extended to incorporate private dining areas, Prosecco bar and outdoor terrace. The kitchen is on full display to the restaurant to celebrate the talent within our kitchen.

Candidates

Experienced Head Waiter

1+ year experience in a busy Restaurant (90+ covers)

Italian cuisine/wine knowledge

Able to run the Restaurant on managers days off

Able to manage people

Good communication with the head chef/sous

Organising daily restaurant briefings with FOH staff and kitchen

The Pear Hospitality Group is delighted to announce the recent acquisition of The Lion and Swan Hotel, Congleton. There are many similarities to the Wheatsheaf, in that The Lion and Swan has lost its once acclaimed status in the town, favoured by the locals and passing trade alike. The team passionately believe in the potential to return the hotel to its former standing and are busy planning another ambitious transformation. They intend to implement the same winning formula to restore the venue as an attraction and landmark in Congleton, whilst maintaining the history and heritage of the beautiful Grade II listed building. The renovation will be completed with the same meticulous attention to detail applied at The Wheatsheaf, featuring spectacular bedrooms, lavish bar areas and an exciting new restaurant.

Job Type: Permanent

Salary: £7.00-£11.00 per hour
