General Assembly is looking for a Head of Strategic Partnerships & Growth to lead and define the partnerships-driven growth strategy for our growing global organization. The Head of Strategic Partnerships & Growth will act as an active partner and trusted advisor to the global leadership team of GA, responsible for developing Strategic Partnerships and Business Development initiatives at the product and overall corporate relationship level. This will include business growth opportunities such as acquisitions, partnerships, joint ventures and new and innovative relationship building strategies. The Head of Strategic Partnerships & Growth will bring a global business perspective to functional and organizational leadership across the spectrum of stakeholders, and will report directly to the SVP, Strategy & Transformation.

Responsibilities:
Facilitate communication and coordination with key internal stakeholders to maximize partnerships across business areas
Build, lead, and maintain an insights-driven, high-performing strategic partnerships function to create sustainable value and support the strategic priorities of GA, Talent Solutions and The Adecco Group
Bring cross-functional teams together to evaluate new opportunities, including potential inorganic acquisitions (M&A), make strategic recommendations and optimize deal structures to grow the business
Support on GA strategic definition, planning and analysis
Collaborate with key internal stakeholders to assess how business development can support departmental initiatives and drive overall audience, revenue, and brand goals
Establish and build relationships with potential and existing strategic partners
Establish and build relationships with key stakeholders within Talent Solutions and the broader TAG ecosystem

Qualifications

8-10 years of international experience working in strategic partnerships or similar positions in a matrix environment, ideally in services or human capital solutions industry
Successful track record in managing large scale partnerships and growth initiatives and post-merger integration initiatives in an international environment preferred
Strong Strategic Management skills with experience either at Consulting or Corporate Strategy
Basic knowledge on M&A and integration processes
Ability on competitive intelligence research and analysis
Experience working in the Education industry strongly preferred, with experience in B2B SaaS, Consumer Applications or broader HR Solutions a nice to have
Strong negotiation & deal making skills a must
Experience overseeing strategic initiatives is a must
Proven ability to think creatively and strategically while handling complex issues
Excellent analytical and organizational skills
Excellent interpersonal skills and strong cultural versatility and empathy
Ability to persuade senior executive management, build consensus and work in a team
Excellent ability to organize, synthesize, and present information
Team player with proven success in partnering with Senior Leadership Teams, senior business leaders, direct reports and global colleagues
Experience in building effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders within a Matrix environment
Business travel required as needed (when safe)
