The Role

We are on the lookout for a Head of Property Acquisition to drive our UK growth at 92 Degrees. You’ll own the process of discovering great new sites that complement our brand and create sustainable, profitable stores UK wide that showcase 92 Degrees and create community around our awesome service… and coffee!

We are the fastest growing independent coffee shop in the UK and we don’t have plans to slow down anytime soon.

As well as identifying great new locations, you’ll also manage our new location pipeline, delivering a frictionless journey from identifying a store through to its grand opening.

Your process should be fast whilst mainlining a keen eye for detail. You’ll work closely with both the CEO and COO on presenting new opportunities and geographical data to back up potential new areas/locations to expand in.

What You’ll be Doing

  • Discovering new regions and sites that work in line with our growth plans
  • Traveling around the country to view potential sites and areas and recommending the best of your findings the internal stakeholders
  • Negotiating with landlords and management companies on executing commercially viable agreements, covering lease contracts favourable to 92 Degrees including rent reviews, service charge budgets and alienation provisions
  • Collaborating with the wider team on managing the end-to-end pipeline through Discovery, acquisition, development and launch of a new location
  • Developing relationships with design and construction teams and contractors to develop beautiful spaces, on time
  • Building financial models that confirm potential sites meet with our overall business plan and basic benchmarks

What You’ll bring to the role

  • 4 plus years’ Experience in all things UK Property Acquisition within hospitality or retail
  • A commercial mindset
  • Understandings of profit and loss
  • Keen eye for what properties and areas meet our brand and business plan effectively
  • Best-in-Class negotiation and communication skills
  • Strong knowledge of UK consumer trends
