Role Purpose:

We are looking for an energetic, analytical, results driven, guest-centric Head of Marketing and Communications, who is knowledgeable and passionate about the hospitality and leisure sector. This senior role will oversee and be responsible for all aspects of the groups online and offline activity, whilst managing our inhouse marketing and PR team. You’ll direct and prioritise all marketing initiatives and strategies, reporting to the Senior Management Team and working cross-functionally, particularly with the Publishing Director of our media company, to develop our brands and businesses. You’ll manage the entire marketing function and external agencies, developing a winning online and offline strategy to make us an industry leader.

Role Responsibilities:

· Design, implement, manage and monitor the overall marketing and PR strategies for all four Elite Leisure Collection businesses in line with the commercial requirements and targets of the group.

· Communicate with senior management and report weekly about existing and new marketing activities.

· Lead, manage and develop the current in-house marketing team of five.

· Be responsible for the managing and approval of relevant financial marketing budgets.

· Work with web developers and PR partners, to increase revenues and audiences.

· Have a clear understanding of the importance of the relationship between sales and marketing.

· Manage and establish new marketing campaigns whenever the business requires.

· Coordinate all marketing activities efficiently within all sites, helping to increase revenue, creating new events and scheduling promotions.

· Be commercially aware, and passionate about the hospitality/leisure industry

· Interact with guest follow-up reviews and assist the operational team to improve when needed.

· Have a proactive attitude and contribute relevant new ideas to help develop the businesses.

· Be creative and experienced with marketing campaigns & strategy, PR, and social media liaising with partners

· Fluent spoken and written English with immaculate grammar.

· Ability to work under pressure with excellent attention to detail.

This is a vital management role in a fast paced ambitious group, therefore you will need to have proven experience in a similar position, managing multi brands, for at least 5 years. Your marketing achievements will speak for themselves and you’ll have had a significant impact in growing a consumer-led business, both through online and offline channels. You’ll have managed a small, but high--performing Marketing function within a fast-paced hospitality or leisure business with direct reports.

You’ll also have:

  • An ability to work collaboratively across the business, building a network of contacts both internally and externally
  • Team player and enjoy working in a multicultural and diverse environment
  • Strong analytical and project management skills
  • Excellent knowledge of Google Analytics, MailChimp and main Social Media channels
