VUE Group is at an extremely exciting and pivotal point of its ambitious growth plans and is looking for an established Head of HR to join the team to help drive the Company’s growth through the People Agenda.

As Head of HR you will report into the Company Directors and will be responsible for designing a strategic and commercial HR roadmap for the business. Your role will see you championing the people agenda and driving people initiatives through the business at all levels from senior leadership to grass roots.

You will be a key player in the management team and enjoy sharing your experience and insight of people leadership with your colleagues. You’ll be working closely with managers and leaders to develop their confidence and capability in building high performing, motivated and engaged teams. And in doing so, you’ll be assisting the leadership team in driving cultural and organisation change.

You will be responsible for the full HR remit from recruitment to employee relations to training, wellbeing and engagement. You will also be responsible for designing and structuring the HR team to ensure the people function is in prime shape to help the Company deliver on its ambitious growth plans.

As an ideal candidate you will be CIPD Level 7 qualified with demonstrable experience operating at a senior HR leadership level.

  • Translate key data into an effective and commercially focussed HR and people strategy
  • Implement the HR and people strategy and work collaboratively with stakeholders to gain buy in and achieve the end goal
  • Evaluate internal and external people trends to advise best practice and inform people strategy
  • Champion a high-performance culture and continuously review employee development making recommendations for training and improvement
  • Champion the Company values and create opportunities to imbed them into the business
  • Scope, build and grow the Employee Value Proposition
  • Coach and develop line managers on building high performing, motivated and engaged teams and create departmental accountability
  • Work with stakeholders and leadership to scale the organisational structure and talent plan
  • Lead on People projects such as engagement and wellbeing, with clear success measures set out at the start of the project to assist in the evaluation of the project’s ROI
  • Ensure legal compliance is met in all HR activities this will include ownership of the HR policies and procedures ensuring they are kept up to date and are delivered in practice
  • Design and report on key people metrics to inform the business of workforce capabilities and areas of concern
  • Articulate complex employment problems and solutions in a concise and clear manner. Oversee and advise on complex employment matters and draw out key conclusions and actions for the business.
  • Responsible for all HR activities including recruitment, L&D, employee engagement, employee relations, talent management, reward, HRIS and compliance. This may include building and managing a HR team and/or managing outsourced providers

Salary Range £50-£65K
