As the Head of Hospitality, you’ll be responsible for the management, co-ordination and running of the hospitality and catering department. You’ll lead the team to deliver high quality and nutritionally balanced meals and refreshments across the village including catering for our care home, households, in the café bar or for specific events.

£36,000 - 38,000pa Plus Excellent Benefits

5 days per week including some weekends – may include early starts for breakfast clubs and late finish for evening functions

About the role

  • Responsible for the management and running of all hospitality operations including the village bar
  • Ensuring the delivery of high quality and nourishing meals to residents across the Village
  • Leading on staff management duties including rota management, recruitment, staff appraisals and development
  • Working collaboratively with other department heads and function organisers for special events
  • Leading on the promotion of hospitality services to maximise revenue
  • Developing, operating and monitoring appropriate systems for all kitchen areas, ensuring the cleanliness and hygiene of all kitchen areas and equipment is maintained to the highest standard

Who we’re looking for

You’ll have experience of managing a team in a hospitality or catering environment or you may have previously worked in a similar role in a care setting. Self-motivated and a great communicator, you’ll be comfortable leading a team. Your organised and flexible approach will ensure our teams are sensitive to the needs of our residents. An active team leader, always leading by example to create and deliver an excellent hospitality experience across the Village.
