This is an exciting opportunity as Head of Health and Safety to manage the Health and Safety Department and proactively address and resolve all Health & Safety Issues across our group of 62 hotels and 6 holiday parks.

As the Head of Health and Safety you will be responsible for ensuring that the Group complies with best practice in Health and Safety.

You will need to be able to investigate and enforce mandatory requirement where applicable. This is a central role and you will be based in Britannia Hotels Head Office, but you must be able to travel to various Sites as and when required.

It is a requirement that the applicant has Chartered Member status with a NEBOSH diploma, with significant previous experience in a similar senior Health and Safety position.

Experience of successfully managing a team is essential.

The ideal candidate will have sound practical knowledge and experience over all aspects of Health and Safety legislation and will have experience in the hospitality industry with good technical knowledge of HACCP food hygiene
