As a Head of Group Infrastructure you will be working for Examworks,

What we are looking for:

  • Detailed technical knowledge of IT infrastructure implementation;
  • Microsoft operating platforms; Windows Server OS 2012 R2, 2016,2019, 2022
  • Active Directory administration
  • Group Policy administration
  • Networking
  • Network Core Services ( DNS, DHCP, WSUS)
  • Cisco UCS administration
  • Detailed knowledge of VMware technologies;
  • IT Security principles
  • Service Management
  • Solid experience of managing an IT Service and/or infrastructure operation, ideally using ITIL framework
  • Experience managing, coaching and developing a small functional team
  • Experience of ISO27001 and/or other security frameworks.
  • ITL v3 Foundation
  • Degree or equivalent
  • Able to work effectively across multiple change projects or change activities simultaneously
  • Driven individual with a focus on continuous improvement
  • Ability to think creatively and generate innovative solutionsDemonstrable excellent Stakeholder Management skills
  • Is a professional role model to team members
  • Able to communicate at all levels and articulate technical complexities to the non-technical community
  • Experience of dealing with customers and building key relationships
  • Proven ability to influence and motivate through communication.
  • An organised person with excellent time management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills are vital

Desirable

  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and ability to apply the right ones at the right time
  • Azure/Cloud

This role comes with travel to other group sites across the UK. Main sites are Bolton and Crewe Cheshire.

This is a hybrid role.
