Role: Head of Governance, Risk & Compliance
Location: Gerrards Cross (2 days a week)
Salary: £75,000 to £80,000 per annum + Bens
The role:
Here at 83zero, we are working with Saas organisation which is currently booming and are looking to grow even bigger. Our client are at the head of their game and are the leading providers in their industry for software solutions.
Due to its rapid growth and success over the last 18 months, they are looking to hire a Head of Governance, Risk & Compliance. This individual will be responsible for managing and responsible for governance and compliance across the whole business and the main focus will be on information security, data protection and business continuity.

Responsibilities of a Head of Governance, Risk & Compliance:
- Maintaining and developing our client’s management systems and accreditation for existing ISO standards 27001 (InfoSec), 22301 (BCP).
- Rolling out 9001 and 14001 across the group
- Rolling out existing standards to newly acquired companies that join the group
- Considering and developing compliance with additional relevant standards
- Raising awareness of standards throughout the group
- Managing existing and new supplier compliance
Skills and Requirements:
- Good knowledge of governance, regulations, ISOs in the technology sector
- Conscientious and well organised with high levels of attention to detail
- Be approachable, great questioning skills and be able to obtain information from others
- Excellent at building and maintaining relationships
- Good influencing and negotiating skills
- Problem solving, with the ability to translate issues and find resolutions
- Desirable experience of technology related compliance such as SOX and SOC
- Relationship building when working with key stakeholders ensuring requirements are understood and adopted.
- Confident in presenting complex information in a clear and concise manner
- An organised and proactive approach
