Cobalt is currently supporting a leader in the European Real Estate market who are recruiting for an Interim Head of Financial Accounting.
Our client is looking to hire an interim Head of Financial Accounting to lead the team over the next 18 months on the financial reporting, external reporting, and statutory accounts.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead and support 4 accountants
- Take ownership of the financial statements
- Responsible for the quarterly management reporting
- Key point of contact for audit management team
- Presentation of technical accounting papers where required
- Assist in the end-to-end production of the Group’s statutory accounts
- Ad hoc analyses and one-off projects to assist management in understanding the decision-making
Requirements:
- ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified
- Real Estate exposure desirable
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Comfortable working on the "big picture"
- Management experience
