Head of Event Operations Office based in Leicestershire, with occasional home working. Your chance to become part of a successful events agency overseeing all aspects of the event team and managing a variety of high-quality programmes and events, in the UK and abroad The Company Working with a broad base of clients, this boutique events agency designs, creates and delivers high quality engagement programmes & events to drive performance amongst customers, employees and channel partners. Providing full event management, they work across a wide range of industry sectors delivering events including conferences, exhibitions, incentive programmes and team building events both in the UK and internationally. With lots of room for growth, now is a fantastic time to join the agency The Role A varied leadership role, with the primary focus being on operational excellence through the effective management of the event logistics teams, their training and development and workload planning. Your main responsibilities will include: Line management of the events team Overseeing team workload and managing capacity One-on-one meetings and appraisals with the events team Leading on team training and development Developing and implementing improvements in workflow Acting as key point of contact for the logistics team The Candidate Candidates must have a proven background in team management and delivering a range of events end to end. This role is ideal for someone who is able to lead by example and is looking to take on development and strategy of a fast-paced events team. Ensuring the smooth running of the team, this candidate must be a confident communicator and be capable of managing multiple event timelines and projects simultaneously.
