We have a new and exciting opportunity to join our Senior Leadership Team as strategic lead for English, Maths and Adult Education.

Under the leadership of the Assistant Principal, the role will drive the improvement and curriculum strategy for English, Maths and Adult Education across the College. The role will support curriculum management to deliver an outstanding student experience and work with all stakeholders to ensure the curriculum meets the skills needs of the community and employers.

This role will undertake the management responsibility for a portfolio of staff and curriculum programmes within ESOL, Employability and Adult English and Maths, and work with managers across college to develop and deliver high quality education and training for adults across a variety of sectors.

Successful applicants will have experience of working with external agencies and funding organisations to meet local and national’s skills and funding targets and have proven involvement with monitoring the financial performance of a large education budget.

In this role, experience in leading on curriculum strategy including English and Maths and meeting funding and achievement targets is essential, as well as experience of building relationships with key stakeholders.

You will have a minimum of a level 5 qualification and a minimum of and level 2 literacy and numeracy. You will have experience of leading curriculum innovation and development to meet challenging KPIs in an educational setting.
