Very well known multi-site FMCG business based in Enfield which is part of a global organisation with manufacturing facilities across the world.

Job Description

The key responsibilities of the Head of Engineering are:


  • Peoplemanagement- Managing a department of 11 people


  • Implement a SAP system and a PPM program
  • FMCG background due to pace at which decisions will be made and implemented.
  • Managing the day-to-day tasks of the Engineering function
  • Full CAPEX management
  • Succession planning for the site
  • Talent management and engagement

The Successful Applicant

The ideal Head of Engineering will have experience with:

  • Creating succession plans for all of the team
  • Overseeing SAP system roll out and managing the team through change as the system becomes part of the day to day work of the team.
  • A strong People leader is a key skill of this person, someone who will spend time on the floor and support the team to help build their skill-set and career development
  • A hands on technical individual, with a background in working in an FMCG environment, ideally with 18th edition qualification or electrically bias
