Elevation Recruitment Group are currently working with a specialist manufacturing company who are looking for a Head of Engineering and Product Development

The company design and manufacture a variety of specialist engineered products to wide variety of markets. Their products are mechanical in nature and include a wide array of hardware, software, firmware and controls.

This role will be to take responsibility for a small multi-disciplinary engineering team to drive product development and develop the team.

The Head of Engineering and Product Development will be responsible for:
  • Managing and leading a design team to achieve the company goals
  • The management of engineering systems including BOM’s
  • Leading a customer focused approach to R&D and innovation
  • Liaising regularly with the wider business

The Head of Engineering and Product Development will need:
  • Experience of leading product design and innovation
  • Experience of managing others
  • A mechanical, electrical or electronic engineering background
  • Excellent communication skills
