We are looking for a Head of Digital Marketing to join our fast-growing B2B SaaS company operating in the Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) and Cyber Security markets. This is a fantastic new role in the company with huge potential to develop the function with increased investment as success is achieved. You’ll be fully accountable for delivering first-class digital marketing strategies and campaigns, measuring against ambitious targets, and delivering demonstrable results. In the immediate term, the ability to closely monitor and manage external agencies to meet agreed targets is essential, with a longer-term view to develop in-house key competencies at the appropriate time. The right person will have a strategic head along with ambition and drive in what is viewed as a key role for the business in its growth strategy.ResponsibilitiesYour day-to-day responsibilities will include:
  • Develop and manage the digital marketing strategy and budget.
  • Engage with digital marketing agencies and negotiate compensation models based on agreed targets.
  • Manage digital marketing agencies to deliver on the strategy, ensuring clear targets and metrics are set and achieved, holding them firmly to account.
  • Keep up to date on the latest trends and emerging technologies in the digital space, developing new and creative digital marketing strategies that provide a competitive advantage.
  • Evaluate the customer journey across relevant digital touchpoints to provide an optimal customer experience.
  • Work in conjunction with the agencies to:
  • Plan digital campaigns, applying the most effective multi-channel marketing mix.
  • Manage our website to provide an optimal customer experience that drives high-quality measurable conversions.
  • Develop our SEO and paid media strategy.
  • Measure and report on the performance of all digital marketing activities and assess against KPIs to optimize the impact of marketing spend.RequirementsThe ideal candidate will have:
  • 6+ years of experience developing and implementing digital marketing strategies, including setting goals, creating processes and procedures, and forecasting ways to meet KPIs and achieve ROIs.
  • Experience working in the SaaS B2B market and a sales, marketing, and success environment – reporting of SaaS metrics and targets is essential.
  • Extensive and up-to-date digital marketing knowledge, including SEO, on and off-page optimization, link building, Google AdWords, paid social, and conversion optimization.
  • Proven ability to apply a multi-channel marketing mix when planning campaigns.
  • Experience in managing agencies and holding them accountable to deliver.
  • A passion for Web technologies, the Internet, and emerging technology trends.
  • Excellent written skills (including faultless spelling and grammar).
  • An ambitious and determined personality that craves a high-growth, fast-paced environment where you can innovate and help build a disruptive business.
  • Desirable: past technical experience with Google Analytics, HubSpot, and Salesforce and using data to drive decision-making and improve results.
