Head of Data Engineering

An international company in Nottingham have an opening in their Data and BI Department for a Head of Data Engineering. This is a pivotal role in the leadership team, driving the business forward with data driven decisions.

You will be leading a team of 8 and have management experience as well as expertise in; strategy, architecture, data governance, stakeholder management and data engineering.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Leading a team of BI and Data professionals
  • Driving recruitment within the ever growing team
  • Data Strategy and defining data governance across the business to support data maturity
  • Manage 3rd party suppliers including; Snowflake, QLIK, FiveTran, Microsoft
  • Hands on with architecture and engineering as and when necessary
