Rookwood Residential Home in Burgess Hill (good central location close to the train station and a bus stop) are looking to recruit Head of Care.

Rate of Pay £12.27 weekday, £12.48 weekend, permanent contract, 36h per week

Duties Include

Supporting the manager to ensure the safe and effective running of the care home while complying with regulation, legislation and policy relevant to the sector; Organisation and day-to-day supervision of the care team to ensure all people using the service are treated with dignity and respect and the highest standards of care are achieved; Developing the care team by mentoring, supervising and assessing competency; Fostering relationships with families to ensure that they are kept informed of all changes to the residents’ physical and emotional well-being.
The successful candidate will have worked in a Senior position within Health and Social Care or/ and have Diploma or NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or working towards).
