Crabwall Manor Hotel & Spa is an historic 17th Century Manor House.

The hotel boasts of 55 well appointed rooms, as well as a Leisure Spa Swimming Pool, Steam room, Jacuzzi, and Conference facilities up to 150.

We are looking to recruit a hands-on Head Housekeeper to lead our team, and who will provide all our guests with a clean and safe experience in all areas of the hotel facilities. We are offering you flexible working hours, which will including weekends on a rota basis which is built around the business needs of the hotel and our guests.

Full Job Description

Your main responsibility is to ensure the cleanliness of all our 55 bedrooms, and the public areas, and you will ensure your housekeeping team have the support and skills necessary to the do their job to the best of their abilities and deliver exceptional cleaning standards in all our bedrooms.

Other duties include: (but are not limited to)

· Provide leadership, support and motivation to the housekeeping team and ensure we maintain high standards of excellence.

· Recruiting and training the housekeeping team.

· Motivating and developing the team to consistently produce excellent results.

· Maintain the inventory of cleaning supplies and all guest sundries.

· Ensuring the bedrooms and public areas are maintained to the standards agreed with yourself & the General Manager and that you conduct regular checks.

· Working to ensure all team members are complying with the relevant health and safety policies, SOP Manual & that you carry out full training with the team on a 1-1 basis as needed to ensure consistency across the department.

· Liaising with other Departmental Managers within the business to ensure clear communication is delivered with regards to hotel matters and our guest’s requirements.

· Ensure cost control policies are followed in all areas of your business, and that your department is operating efficiently with the guidelines set by you & your General Manager this will include Room Attendant productivity, Supervisory of hours and weekly budget control.
