Job Overview:

We’re a family run business that have successfully created The Goat Shed and we’re now in an exciting position to hire a passionate individual to take the gym to the next level.

We have a dynamic culture and the Heach Coach position is a leadership role responsible for the gym facility as well as our pool and sauna. Our facilities at West House Farm extend further than the gym but this role is an integral part of the local community and wider business. This individual would act as an ambassador for the business and be driven by success.

The responsibilities include but are not limited to the below:

Coaching and Sports Management

• Management of the coaching team, developing and upskilling the team to maintain our excellent coaching standard. Managing the coaching rota with the team.
• Instructing and coaching including CrossFit, weightlifiting, conditioning and strongman and any other associated classes.
• Opportunities for Personal Training sessions capped at 5 hours per week with clients sourced by yourself.
• Programming the classes for all abilities from beginners to competitive CrossFit Athletes with input from other coaches where needed.

Gym and Member Management

• Yearly budgeting and cash flow projections with quarterly business plans to be agreed
• Membership Management - CRM Management, New Member Strategies, Query follow ups and development of membership offering
• New member inductions with one to one induction consultations where required with beginner members
• Manage events calendar for both members and coaches, including social, competitive and season events.
• Management of front of house duties
• Develop the branding collateral and partnerships
• Content creation for social media and the website

Facilities Management

• Ensuring the gym and equipment is kept clean and hygienic and tidy. Being responsible for the safety and maintenance of all equipment and machines; recording actions.
• Spa and Pool Management - booking management and maintenance management

Qualifications

• Must have a CrossFit level 2 qualification and experience in a head coach or similar role
• Have experience coaching in a functional fitness gym
• Excellent supervisory, interpersonal communication, and time management skills
• Decision making, problem solving, strategic planning, and data analysis skills
• Knowledge of standard office procedures and computer software Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to build relationships with members Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Desirable Extras

• British Weight Lifting qualifications
• Additional CrossFit or personal training qualifications
• Sales and Social Media Management experience

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £27,500.00-£30,000.00 per year
