Hours of work: Rotation/40-45 Hours/Overtime/Weekends

This position is the most prominent and important role in the kitchen. As head chef, it is essential that you are always able to maintain complete control of the kitchen and command the respect of your kitchen staff and that of the floor staff and appropriate managers.

Managing and communicating well with your pizza sous chef to ensure the highest standards continue throughout the kitchen, particularly in your absence during days off or holidays.

Productively and pro-actively train and mentor junior chefs by drawing as much intrigue and passion from them as you can and pushing them to constantly improve.

Accountable for kitchen due diligence, food wastage and staff rotas, liaising with management, suppliers and all floor staff.

Currently a Head Chef looking for a new exciting challenge with experience within an Italian kitchen, or a Sous Chef ready to take the next step, consistency in driving the standards up by demanding exceptional results throughout the kitchen operation, a passion for freshly made to order food within a fun lively, bustling busy Italian Pizza restaurant then this is the next step.
