Hickory’s Smokehouse Shrewsburyare looking to recruit a Head Chefto join our team. You will join us on a full time, permanent basis and you will receive a competitive salary of up to £32,000 per annum PLUS an extra £5000+ with Tip Jar!

Key Responsibilities Of Our Head Chef
  • The day to day running of the kitchen
  • Doing rotas, stocks and management of the kitchen team
  • Oversee an enthusiastic and hard-working team delivering a quality service to a high standard
  • Developing and training the kitchen team to a high standard to maximise both food service and bottom line profits
  • Working to Labour budgets
  • Ordering and stock controls
Essential

Requirements Of a Hickory’s Head Chef
  • Previous experience in a similar role within a fast-paced restaurant environment
  • Food hygiene and health and safety knowledge and certificates
  • Strong passion for food and for customer satisfaction
  • Ability to lead and inspire a team
  • Possess excellent organisational skills
  • Flexible and adaptable in your approach to work
