Main Duties:

  • Preparing and serving food to high standards
  • Day-to-day management of a busy kitchen and coffeehouse counter
  • Lead, develop and coach your kitchen team
  • Ensure the quality of the food is consistently high
  • Ensure hygiene standards are exceeded
  • Cost and plan seasonal menus, alongside daily/weekly specials
  • Maintain quality control within the kitchen – EHO
  • Monitor food costs and maximise GP
  • Stock management and orders
  • Wastage and loss management

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience in a fast-paced restaurant/pub environment
  • Great knowledge of a variety of food and ingredients
  • Strong management skills
  • Leadership qualities
  • Strong communication and written skills
  • Computer Literate
  • Extensive knowledge of the F+B industry
  • Attention to detail

This full-time position is predominantly based Monday-Friday. However, there will be other shifts required dependant on the business needs – i.e. private events.
