Role: Guidewire PolicyCenter Integration Business Analyst

Job Description:

Skills Required

1. Excellent Domain knowledge on P&C lines of Insurance with expertise in Policy Processes.

2. Strong understanding of Guidewire PolicyCenter and related modules and functionalities.

3. Skilled in Requirement elicitation and requirement gathering.

4. Ability to communicate with multiple stakeholders in a fast paced environment with strict deadlines

5. Skilled in Functional Test identification and Acceptance criteria definition for PC, BC, CC & Integrations.

6. 8+ Years of SDLC and Java EE experience with 5+ Years of GW Integration experience and 2+ Years of GW PolicyCenter Integration experience.

7. Experience with Iterative (Agile) development lifecycle.

8. Hands on GW Implementation Proficiency and Experience in GW Integration Development (Integration with ESB, Legacy, Vendor Applications using various integration mechanisms and in implementation of robust Unit Tests using GUnit)

9. Robust understanding of PolicyCenter DataModel

10.Experience in GW Configuration Development (GOSU, Rules Engine, Data Model, PCF, Wizards, Workflow, Product Model development)

11.Experience effectively using Design Patterns and Enterprise Integration patterns

12.Experience with common integration mechanisms including Service Oriented architectures, Web Services (SOAP/RESTful), Messaging (JMS, MQ)

13.Experience with Application Servers like WebSphere, Weblogic, JBoss and/or Tomcat

14.Experience with Database Servers like SQL Server, Oracle, and/or DB2

15.Experience with XML Parsing, Junit, SoapUI, Maven, Jenkins, GIT/Subversion/TFS, Code Coverage and Code Scan Plugin/Tools.

Job Description

1. Requirement elicitation through participation in workshops, meetings and document analysis

2. Business Requirement Document creation and maintenance

3. Business Process mapping and Use Case creation

4. Liaise between Business and Technical teams

5. Lead Workshops and Requirement gathering sessions

6. Work with QA teams to identify functional scenarios and to create Acceptance criteria

7. Design integrations, ability to assist in technical architecture and identify issues with onsite documentation

8. Prepare/Enhance Detailed Design Documentation for integrations using UML notations

9. Build GW Integrations using traditional GW Integration mechanisms to external vendor/ internal customer applications

10.Build/Develop GW Configuration components in support of Integration (Using GOSU, Rules Engine, Data Model, PCF, Workflow, Product Model etc.)

11.Identify and develop reusable framework, configuration and integration components to be used as is on multiple projects

12.Unit and Functional Test developed Configuration and Integration Solutions using GUnit, Mockito – Automated and SoapUI - Manual.

13.Prepare Build and Implementation plans for integration work stream and report integration work stream status
