Contract: Full-Time Hours / Permanent

Salary: Dependent on experience & Bonus Scheme

About the Role…

We have an exciting new opportunity available for a Group IT Project Manager to join our Group IT function at EG Group! This role will involve the planning, execution, and delivery of projects to be completed to deadlines and within budget. The Project Manager will define the projects objectives and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle, whilst also being heavily involved in Senior stakeholder management and weekly status reporting throughout all projects.

We are looking for a motivated, team-orientated, and adaptable individual who will have extensive experience in Project Management to carry out this role. You will have the tenacity and resilience to manage large projects and take ownership of these from beginning to end whilst adapting to different challenges you may face in the role.

Duties & Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end project delivery, inclusive of hypercare support, closure and transition into BAU.
Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents.
Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and effective manner, clearly highlighting the critical path of delivery.
Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis, and own stakeholder management.
Draft and submit budget proposals and request subsequent budget changes where necessary through appropriate change control.
Determine and assess need for additional staff and/or consultants and make the appropriate recruitments if necessary
Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders.
Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.
Track project milestones and deliverables.
Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.
Conduct project lessons learned exercises and create recommendations report in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
Determine the frequency and content of status reports from the project team, analyse results, and troubleshoot problem areas.

Candidate Requirements

Degree in any Information Technology/Information Systems disciplines
4-5 years’ experience working in a Project Management capacity, including all aspects of process development and execution
Project Management industry certifications I.E. PRINCE2
Strong familiarity with project management software, such as Microsoft Project or comparative tools
Understanding of platforms such as ERP systems
Experience working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential
Ability to manage multiple projects in parallel
Ability to read communication styles of team members and contractors who come from a broad spectrum of disciplines
Strong written and oral communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Must be able to learn, understand, and apply new technologies.
