Your new role

Reporting to the CFO and managing a small team, you will be responsible for both internal and external financial reporting, taking responsibility and ownership for the implementation of appropriate policies, procedures, and processes to ensure an effective control environment. You will ensure strong accounting and reporting are in place throughout the group and and take oversight of management reporting, tax, and treasury.

You will manage all internal reporting, including consolidated monthly US GAAP management accounts, and ad hoc reporting to business with the ability to refresh and develop reporting to ensure it remains insightful and fit for purpose. You will lead the day to day management and development of UK/US finance team, complete all external reporting, including drafting of statutory accounts for both UK & US in accordance with IFRS and US GAAP respectively. You will manage the external audit and development and documentation of strong internal controls framework to support future growth acting as the key contact for external auditors for the statutory audits of both UK & US entities. Other duties will include the preparation of information to support tax filings in the UK and overseas, management of the UK and foreign payrolls and cashflow management for the group.

What you’ll need to succeed

The successful candidate will be qualified ACA or ACCA with experience of producing consolidated group accounts, have a solid understanding of IFRS and US GAAP and experience of leading and developing teams. You will have strong analytical skills and close attention to detail and excellent communication skills. Most importantly you will be diligent and organised and have a track record of working in a small team.

As the company operated globally you will be responsive to the needs of an international business working across different time zones, adapting working patterns in-line with business requirements.
