Summary
CMA is working with a growing business based in Basingstoke, Hampshire. Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, the Group Financial Accountant will be responsible for a broad remit of responsibilities; owning the group financial reports, group consolidations, head office accounting, group tax compliance, cash flow forecasting and managing a small team.
This is an exciting time to join a business going through a period of change and offers challenges, commercial exposure and progression opportunities.
What will the role involve?
- Group consolidated financial statements under IFRS preparation;
- Month end group consolidation for management reporting purposes;
- Monthly head office accounting, journal posting and reconciliations
- Cash flow forecasting - weekly, monthly 13 week and annual;
- Staff management;
- Support the Group Financial Controller and CFO with ad hoc projects.
Suitable Candidate:
- ACA/ ACCA qualified Accountant (or equivalent);
- Substantial post qualified experience, gained from a Group Accounting role;
- Strong consolidation experience, ideally from a PLC listed business;
- Technically strong accounting knowledge - IFRS;
- Experience of delivering improvements in controls and procedures;
- Experience of managing a team.
