Our client is a market leading business working in the sports industry, providing both consultancy and construction services to household names such as the world cup, the Olympic games and Wimbledon. We are supporting them in their search for a Group Finance Manager. They are looking for a qualified accountant on an upwards career trajectory, to undertake a group finance manager position overseeing multiple limited companies, with further acquisitions in the pipeline the successful applicant will take on more responsibility in line with business growth. This is a number 2 finance role reporting into the group FD where you will oversee a team of 3 accounts staff, you will be office based in Bingley. Your focus will be on maintaining efficiency within the finance department, working to streamline processes, and ensuring accurate and punctual financial reporting as well as integrating new acquisitions into group reporting. Main duties of the role: Accountability for the financial and management reporting of all ltd’s within the group including review and presentation of management accounts pack for multiple entities Weekly cashflow reporting Budget production and planning across the group Leading a finance team of three operating on Xero Manage the annual audit with external accountants Actively drive efficiency within the finance department through technology and process innovationSalary: £50,000 - £60,000 + Benefits (Car, 5.25% pension, 25 days holiday, etc.) IPS Finance has 40 years’ experience in the Yorkshire accountancy recruitment market.
