Here at Primis, we are delighted to have partnered up with a very exciting space company. Their aim is to create sustainable space systems.

They are on the lookout for a mid or senior level Ground Segments Engineer to join their team in Didcot. This is a hybrid permanent position, where you will be afforded the opportunity to play a key leading role within the ground segment team, whilst being involved in all the ground software and infrastructure needed to operate a mission.

Responsibilities inclusive of but not exhaustive:

  • Be apart of the development of ground systems. This includes MCS, MPS, GSIS
  • Act as a product owner/technical officer and provide support to development team during ground segment development stage
  • Follow Agile methodology
  • Systems verification and validation

Requirements

  • 5+ years experience in satellite ground systems engineering
  • 5+ years experience in the space industry
  • Good understanding of ground segment components
  • Good knowledge of space mission design and development and standard milestones and aslo requirements engineering
  • Good understanding of system integration, verification and validation
  • Fluency in both written and spoken English
